TMSA Young Trad Tour Concert at Celtic Connections Festival

Since 2003 the TMSA have been giving the finalists of the BBC Radio Scotland Young Traditional Musician of the Year Competition (organised by Hands Up for Trad), the opportunity to record an album together and embark on a tour, including their home towns. Around 100 young musicians have taken part and this year presents another fantastic group of talented artists.

The line-up for this concert/tour is: Charlie Stewart (2017 Winner - Fiddle), Mohsen Amini (2016 Winner - Concertina), Ella Munro (Scots Song), Grant McFarlane (Accordion), Iona Fyfe (Scots Song), Kim Carnie (Gaelic Song) and Dougie McCance (Bagpipes) with accompaniment from by Owen Sinclair. The group have been working with Musical Director - Anna Massie - of Blaziní Fiddles fame, who is also a previous Young Traditional Musician of the Year Winner and TMSA Young Trad Tour participant. Anna took over from Corrina Hewat during the previous Tour project.
